Herro my dudes and dudettes !!
For today, a film review of Spider-Man : Homecoming ! I went to see it the other day and, first things first, Tom Holland is really the best Spider-Man of them all. Not to say but it isn’t really hard to be better than Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, in my point of view anyway. I found the story in Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man really bad and Spidey really didn’t correspond to Spidey in the comics. But the new one is way, way better. There is a lot of humour in the film and it made me laugh quite a lot of times. Michael Keaton’s Vulture was also pretty sweet, using alien technology and combining it with the human one, to make some really cool stuff. It’s a shame though that Spidey didn’t get together with Liz but you never know what can happen in the 2019 sequel. I think that the the fight between Spidey and The Vulture could have been a bit more impressive but it was good enough for me. I also really likes the friendship that Peter has with Ned, it’s a lot stronger than what he had with Harry, and I doubt Ned would betray him, the same for Ned’s father. Other than that the visual effects are amazing and the new suit looks way better than the others. Especially the Iron Spider suit that we see at the end. I wanted to bring out the fact that Aaron Davis is the uncle of Miles Morales and he did mention him in the parking lot. Also the criminal named MacGargan who is the bold guy that we see a few seconds in the movie and is in the end-credit scene talking to The Vulture, has a tattoo of a scorpion on his neck, which means he is Scorpion as was said in the comics. One thing that there could have been more of is Spidey’s Spider sense, which sometimes starts to show a little but most times it is not. I’m sure it’s because he’s still young and is discovering his powers but I hope we’ll see more of it in the sequel. Anyway that’s it my dudes! Tell me what you thought of Spider-Man Homecoming in the comments down below! Good day to you! |
